Temperatures to Warm Up in the Coming Days

Time to put away your winter coats

If you briefly got your South Florida winter gear out of the closet, you can get ready to put it away again.

Temperatures will be warming up rather quickly over the next couple of days, with highs in the 80s and lows around 70 degrees as soon as Wednesday. The cold high pressure system that came in
behind the front has moved off into the Atlantic.

The clockwise flow around the high has brought onshore winds, which will veer to the southeast and
south by the end of the week. This will also bring higher levels of humidity, and by the weekend the chance of rain reappears.

There is only a slight chance of showers on Friday, or perhaps an isolated thunderstorm on Saturday. Then on Sunday another cold front approached, increasing our chance of rain further.
