Mild morning temperatures in the 60s and lower 70s will rise into the lower 80s Wednesday afternoon in South Florida.

Like past mornings, a touch of fog is possible in the western suburbs of Broward and Miami-Dade, but will diminish by 8 a.m.

Highs will reach the lower 80s this afternoon and it will be bright with sun and scattered clouds. Temperatures will continue to run above average. The average morning low for this date is 60 degrees, and the average high is 77.

The next chance for showers develops late Friday and continues Saturday as a cold front moves through South Florida. The cool down will drop highs into the upper 70s over the weekends and mid 70s early next week.
