Weather Forecast: Afternoon Showers This Weekend

Afternoon rain, highs in lower 90s

Expect more scattered thunderstorms Saturday afternoon.

Winds will shift a bit more from the south-southeast, so all activity will be pushed inland, but metro areas will still see some of those thunderstorms.

Expect some of those storms to be strong at times. Highs will be in the upper 80s and low 90s.

Father's Day will be another typical summer day with partly sunny skies and afternoon thunderstorms.

The only difference is that thunderstorms won't be as numerous and an east wind will push most activity further inland and towards the west coast. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

Monday could see morning showers. Other than that, expect typical summer days with mostly to partly sunny skies each morning and afternoon thunderstorms.

Highs will be average for this time of year in the upper 80s and low 90s each afternoon. The risk of rip currents will increase through the work week.
