There was more sunshine and dry conditions to help the morning commute Thursday in South Florida.

Kendall was at 72 Thursday morning, a nice, refreshing start to the day. Temps will climb to the low 90s Thursday afternoon, with only a slight chance of a stray shower.

Temperatures will stay around 90, and rain chances will stay low through the first half of the weekend. Rain chances will increase slightly by Sunday and Monday.

There will be nothing more than a 30 percent chance of rain through the holiday weekend. All is quiet in the tropics.
