Expect another hot and dry day Tuesday before shower and thunderstorm chances ramp back up for the second half of the work week in South Florida.
It's been very dry for several days now, but as tropical moisture surges into the region, shower coverage will increase by Wednesday afternoon.

Expect afternoon clouds and highs around 90 Tuesday. Partly cloudy conditions with a stray shower are in the forecast for Tuesday night.
Storm chances will run Wednesday through Saturday before a more settled pattern attempts to return by Sunday.
Conditions in the tropics remain quiet at this time.
