Weather Forecast: Mostly Dry Monday in South Florida

Temps in mid to upper 80s with slight chance of passing showers

There was plenty of sunshine to start the day Monday in South Florida, with only a few fast-moving showers moving onshore.

Temperatures are starting out in the low 80s, with highs climbing to the mid to upper 80s this afternoon. We will stay mainly dry for most of the day, however, there will be a slight chance of passing showers along the ocean breeze.

A moderate risk of rip currents is in effect along the east coast.

Tropical moisture will work its way in by the middle part of the week, which will increase rain chances. Elsewhere in the tropics, all is quiet.
