Showers were expected throughout South Florida Sunday, with highs up to 82 degrees and lows in the mid-70s in the evening.

There was a high risk of rip currents at area beaches with a small craft advisory for boaters and a gale warning for the evening hours.

A weak cold front will move over the area in the evening and into Monday, but temperatures won't see a major drop.

Showers will remain in the forecast through Wednesday before another cool front sets in, leaving cooler weather for Thanksgiving. Lows will be in the low 60s with highs in the low 70s.
