Weather Forecast: Showers, Thunderstorms Likely on Ultra Saturday

Saturday was forecast to be cloudy, warm and humid, with showers and thunderstorms kicking up later in the day.

A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties until 11 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Expect breezy conditions and highs around 85 degrees.

Skies will remain cloudy through the evening, with showers on the rise overnight. Some showers could be strong. Overnight lows will still be in the lower 70s.

On Sunday, a cool front will swing through South Florida in the early morning hours. Drier air and clearing skies will filter in for the second half of the day.

High pressure will build Monday, bringing quiet and dry conditions. Expect a cool start to the morning with lows in the 60s. Highs will be in the upper 70s with plenty of sunshine.

The rest of the week will be mostly sunny through Friday. Highs will reach the mid-80s by Friday.
