It was a cool start to Friday with temperatures in the lower 70s in South Florida.
There was a little cloud cover, but it should be eroding away from north to south through the day. Highs should be in the low 80s this afternoon, with more sunshine.
Winds will be increasing through the day and will be gusting up to 25 mph by Friday afternoon. There will be a high risk of rip currents along the area beaches, with a small craft advisory offshore.
The weekend looks fantastic, with highs in the mid 80s, lows in the low 70s and plenty of sunshine both Saturday and Sunday.
