Dozens of Flights Canceled, Delayed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Due to Winter Storm

The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport said 40 flights have been canceled and 101 have been delayed due to the winter storm affecting the U.S. East Coast.

"As Winter Storm Harper continues to cause flight disruptions in parts of the U.S. and at FLL, passengers are encouraged to check with their airline for the latest flight information and rebooking options. We thank you for your patience as safety is our number one priority," FLL said in a statement.

At Miami International Airport, 15 flights were delayed and 11 were canceled. 

On Saturday, much of the country was slammed with severe weather. More than 1,700 flights were canceled nationwide.

A strong cold front is pushing through South Florida. Temperature lows in South Florida are expected to reach the 40s Monday morning.
