Seven-time Grammy Award-winning Gloria Estefan will be performing on the opening night of the 30th annual University of Miami Frost School of Music’s Festival Miami.
During the Oct. 1 concert, which is already sold out, Estefan will perform selections from her upcoming album “The Standards.”
The album, which is set to release Sept. 10 is co-produced by Estefan and Frost Music School Dean, Shelly Berg.
The concert will be held at UM’s 600-seat Gusman Concert Hall and Estefan is expected to sing classics such as “Good Morning Heartache,” “Embraceable You,” “I’ve Grown Accustomed to His Face,” “Smile” and “What a Wonderful World.”
