Tues., Dec. 31 - Pitbull at American Airlines Arena, 9 pm, $55 - $175

 
Ready to say goodbye to 2013? Dale. It's only fitting that Mr. 305 would host a New Year's Eve party at one of Miami's most notable landmarks: the American Airlines Arena. The party begins with at 9 pm on Biscayne Blvd., with special guests Prince Royce and Jump Smokers kicking it off.
 
Tues., Dec. 31 – Afrojack and Pharrell at Fountainebleau, 9 pm, $325 +
 
Ring in the New Year at one of the iconic hotels of Miami Beach. The Fountainebleau goes all out for New Year's Eve, starting off with performances from Dirty Dutch DJ Afrojack and Pharrell. After the midnight champagne toast, head down to LIV where the one and only Tiesto will be spinning live until the wee hours of the night.
 
Thurs., Jan. 2 – Jay Z at BB&T Center, 8 pm, $28.75 - $146.25
 
Jay Z goes by many titles: CEO, hip hop mogul, rapper, producer, and entrepreneur. With multiple Grammy awards, classic albums, and a pseudo-retirement under his belt, Jay Z is one of the most prominent figures in the music scene. The Magna Carta World Tour makes its only Florida stop this Thursday night at the BB&T Center.
 
Sat., Jan. 4 – Elastic Bond, Tremends at The Stage, 10 pm, $10
 
Some of the best of South Florida's local music scene take over at the Design District this weekend. Folk meets Latin sounds with Miami group Elastic Bond, who will be joined at The Stage by rock group Tremends. The show begins at 10 pm, with ladies enjoying free admission all night.
