Local Miami Singer Releases New Single, “Punto y Coma”

Almost a year after leaving Pitbull's record label, Mr. Worldwide, Madai is back with a new hit single; except this time, she's back with a different sound. "Since I was born in Cuba, I think it's fair that I work with my roots," said Madai in a recent interview. When she first started her career in the music industry, she sang Pop music. But now she transitioned to Salsa, because she feels that's the music she was born to perform.

Her new single, Punto y Coma, is a remake by Lupita d'Alessio. It's a song about putting things to an end, and starting from scratch; something Madai says hits close to home. "It's kind of what I'm doing with my music," said Madai, "it's also an empowerment call for women out there. Once something is bad, quit it, and start something new."

Punto y Coma is now available on iTunes. To keep up with Madai, you can follow her on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. All you have to do is search MadaiWorld.  You can also check out her website here.
