International music sensation Shakira and Zumba® Fitness creator and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez are joining forces to give aspiring dancers a chance to show off their original choreography to the catchy chorus of Shakira’s latest hit “Dare (La La La).”
Participants are being asked to submit a 15-second video on Instagram showing their most fabulous dance moves stamped with the hashtag #ZumbaDare.
The Colombian singer has taken to several of her social media profiles urging her fans to participate.
“Dare (La La La)” is currently part of the Zumba® workouts playlist all across the globe and it features Shakira’s very own sexy hip shaking dance moves.
To entice the 15 million plus Zumba® fans who take classes every week, co-founder Beto Perez has also produced his own video asking his fans and instructors to take part in the contest.
“Music is the heartbeat of our brand, and over the years we have become a global radio station that supports all types of rhythms set to infectious dance moves,” Perez said.

The winner of the contest will get the chance to have their choreography added to Shakira’s Dare (La La La) video and a chance to appear in a choreography video along side Beto Perez all across Shakira’s social media platforms.
The dance brand has a long-rooted history of working in the music industry and alongside a variety of artists to help spread their music globally.
Entries must be submitted on Instragram to @Zumba by July 6th . The choreography must be set to the chorus of “Dare (La La La) and must be no more than 15-seconds long.
All video entries will be judged based on creativity and originality of the choreography. One winner will receive hotel accommodations for two, airfare to the Zumba® headquarters where they will get the chance to tape a behind the scenes video with Beto Perez and be featured in all of Shakira’s and Zumba®’s social media platforms.
