Fashion Gives Back

Celebrate Hennessy V.S. New Bottle Launch
 
Hennessy V.S. celebrates the third installment of the brand’s limited edition bottle series by world-renowned Brazilian artists Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo, better known as Os Gêmeos on Friday August 23. Os Gemeos will be autographing their limited edition numbered bottles at Total Wine (14750 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami) from 5:45pm – 7pm. The bottle offers a new experience for Hennessy fans with its eye-catching design and warm-colored tones, while still providing the same smooth taste revered by Cognac fans for almost 250 years. Later in the evening Os Gemeos will be spinning at Blackbird Ordinary located at 729 SW First Avenue.
 
 
Funky Buddha Beer Dinner
 
On Friday, August 23, get “Funky” at the special Beer Dinner with Funky Buddha Hop Gun, taking place at Whole Foods Market in Coral Springs. From 5:30 –9 p.m., foodies and craft beer aficionados alike can get a glass of Funky Buddha Brewery Hop Gun IPA for a one cent – yes, that’s right, it only costs a penny – with the purchase of any Pub Menu dish. During this night only, the store’s skilled chefs will offer three dinner specials for $10.99 each. This event is free and open to the public.  In addition,  you'll meet beer experts from the locally-based Funky Buddha Brewery and enjoy live music from musical performer, Warren Hill. Late Night Dinner at Khong River House
 
On Thursday, August 22, At 10pm, Khong River House (1661 Meridian Avenue) continues its monthly guest chef series with a dinner featuring Chef Vishwesh Bhatt of Snackbar in Oxford, MS.  Tickets are $75 per person, and guests can still reserve by calling 305.763.8147. http://www.khongriver.com/category/news/.  This late night dining affair is sure to be among the most authentic culinary experiences. 
 
Patpong Road Opens
 
On Friday, August 23, “Patpong Road” opens above Khong River House, bringing Thailand’s Red Light District to Miami Beach. Inspired by the night market, the “Bangkok Chic” bar will act as a weekend party destination for locals, offering Thai-influenced snacks, approachable cocktails served out of plastic bags in authentic Thai fashion, and a mix of 90s hip-hop music curated by DJ Jessica Who.  Patpong Road is located at 1661 Meridian Avenue.  The bar is open on Friday and Saturday nights from 10 pm to 2 am beginning Friday, August 23.  No reservations are accepted.
