Cellar 1954 at Gotham Steak
 
Head to Gotham Steak at the Fontainebleau on Thursday, July 18 for the monthly Cellar 1954 Wine & Dinner Series and enjoy some of the world’s most prestigious wines paired with award-winning cuisine.  This month’s dinner combines a decadent five-course menu prepared by Gotham Steak chef de cuisine Derrick Roberts with wines hand-selected and presented by Alysia Casebeer, from the prestigious Peter Michael Winery.  Seating for the event is limited and priced at $250 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. The evening will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the restaurant’s private dining room. Prepare to Salsa at the Paradise Social Club
 
Step into an old-school Cuban bash on Friday, July 19 at the "Paradise Social Club” fundraiser gala at Terra Veritatis (4949 Pinetree Drive)  The party, set in a historical private waterfront estate starts at 8 p.m. and promises to be reminiscent of Havana circa 1958, with live music, Cuban-inspired libations and freshly rolled cigars. Proceeds will benefit the foundation’s Children’s Relief Program, helping disadvantaged children in Haiti by providing tools for a better life.  Tickets to the gala cost $150 per person and will be available at the door on the night of the event. A Night of Film and Music at the Bass Museum
 
Visit the Bass Museum of Art on Friday, July 19 from 7-9 p.m. as the museum will present artist Kevin Arrow's short film production about Gianni Versace and a special performance by Gavin Perry and Beatriz Monteavaro, otherwise known as Holly Hunt.   The event will bring together performance art, music and video.  In addition to film and musical performance the Bass Museum of Art will formally announce to the community the newest appointment of José Carlos Diaz as the museum's new Curator of Exhibitions.
