Beverly Crest Home of Julie Andrews Sells for $5.15M

What do Julie Andrews, Stacey Sher, the producer of "Pulp Fiction," and Courtney Love all have in common? This house in Beverly Crest, which just sold for $5.15 million, reports the Los Angeles Times.

The 7,800-square-foot main home, originally designed by Wallace Neff in 1948, was once owned by "The Sound of Music" star. Fast forward to 2012, and the sellers of the posh spread are film producer Stacey Sher and musician Kerry Brown (he's played drums for the Smashing Pumpkins).

The remodeled home boasts living room with beamed ceilings, stained-glass windows, mahogany doors, and an astounding six fireplaces.

As if that weren't enough, the property includes a 2,480-square-foot guest house with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a recording studio. According to the Times, artists who have recorded in the guest house studio include Courtney Love, Ziggy Marley and the Strawberry Alarm Clock.

Not impressed yet? Outdoor amenities of Andrews' former home include a basketball court, tennis court, swimming pool and waterfalls.
