Claudia DoCampo is a general assignment reporter and multimedia journalist

Claudia DoCampo first reported for NBC6 and Telemundo51 in 2008 and then again since March 2013 as a general assignment reporter and multimedia journalist. In May of 2014, Claudia began working as the only local TV news Criminal Justice multimedia reporter in the Miami Dade County Courthouse.

Claudia's 20 year broadcasting career began at Bloomberg TV and Radio Headquarters in New York City as a bilingual anchor, reporter and producer. After that Claudia was an Associate Producer at Court TV and worked with Nancy Grace and other notable on-air personalities. Claudia's reporting at News12 the Bronx and later as a Bureau Chief at WFLA, the NBC affiliate in Tampa, led to arrests and changes in law enforcement policies. While at CBS58 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Claudia was the lead 5pm reporter and anchor/producer/writer for a weekly News Magazine show in Spanish at sister station, WYTU Telemundo63.

Claudia has covered many important news stories including: World Trade Center terrorist attacks, Resignation of Archbishop of Milwaukee after sex scandal, I-43 Pile Up, Hurricane Katrina, Lady Lake Deadly Tornadoes and the Hialeah Massacre.

Claudia has 3 Emmy Award nominations. The Miami New Times named her Best TV News Reporter of 2011 and she's also received a Merit Award from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association for covering one of the worst traffic accidents in Wisconsin’s state history.

Claudia was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and speaks Spanish, French and some Italian.

Claudia holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York where she studied Film/Video, Photography and Painting, graduating Cum Laude. Following college, she worked at Scholastic Inc. and other publishers as an editor, translator and media liaison before pursuing her journalism career.

Claudia is an avid reader and researcher. She also enjoys doing volunteer work with her dog in Pet Therapy programs at local nursing homes and hospice units.
