No. 1 – Final preps being made for Thanksgiving dinners across the country

Let's talk turkey – first things first: don't wash your bird. You can actually be spreading contamination around the kitchen. Make sure to use a meat thermometer in three parts: he breast, the thigh and the leg and it must reach 165 degrees. It might sound like common sense, but wash your hands before and after you handle any raw poultry.

If your turkey isn't thawed out, don't freak out: you can cook a frozen turkey as it just take longer. It does need to be completely thawed if you're frying your turkey - if it's frozen, it could cause a dangerous grease fire.

No. 2 - The Thanksgiving travel rush is underway!

54 million people are expected to board flights and hit the road across the country including nearly two million along traveling through South Florida airports.

No. 3 - Balloons inflated for 92nd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade

This year, there will be 16 giant balloons and 43 new balloons and you can seem them all live at 9 a.m. tomorrow on NBC 6.

No. 4 – Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s baby meets Oprah

Kaavia James and the Wade family welcomed the talk show goddess into their home earlier this week to tape a prime time special. "Oprah at Home with Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade & Their New Baby" airs in December.
