Arrest In Death Of ‘American Idol' Contestant

Police have reportedly arrested a suspect in the death of former "American Idol" contestant Alexis Cohen, who was killed over the weekend after she was struck by a car.

According to TMZ, police have booked Daniel Bark, 23, on charges of death by reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident in connection with Cohen's death.

The Asbury Park Press reported that Cohen, who gained notoriety for her foul-mouthed rants after appearing on Season 7 & 8 of "Idol," was killed early Saturday in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

She reportedly suffered chest, head and abdominal injuries.

Bark could receive a maximum of 15 years in prison if found guilty.
