Comedian Robert Schimmel was reportedly arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of committing felony domestic violence.
Police responded to the comedian's Calabasas, Calif., home at 12:20 a.m. and found his wife with evidence of a physical confrontation, TMZ reported.
Schimmel, a writer for "In Living Color" and regular on Howard Stern's show, was held on $50,000 bail, TMZ reported.
Schimmel's wife is his second marriage. They have two children together, the New York Daily News reported.
