The list was ranked according to Forbes' Star Currency rating, tallied from votes from across the entertainment industry. All of the listed stars were 19 or under at the time the list was generated.

Topping the list was Daniel, 19, who plays the title character in the "Harry Potter" series. The Brit has branched out with a Broadway role in "Equus" and has three "Potter" films yet to be released.

Miley Cyrus, 16, took the second spot thanks to her double-threat career as a musician and actress on Disney's "Hannah Montana." "Hannah Montana: The Movie" opens in April.

At No. 3 is Dakota Fanning, 15, who has starred in such films as "The Secret Life of Bees," "Push" and voiced the title character of "Coraline." She's set to join the "Twilight" franchise with a role in November's "New Moon," and is reportedly negotiating for a rock star role in the biopic "Runaways."

Oscar nominee and "Little Miss Sunshine" star Abigail Breslin was fourth on the list, and at age 12, already catching up to her peers with roles in "Definitely, Maybe" and "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl."

Rounding out the top 10 were "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson, 18; Freddie Highmore, 17 ("The Spiderwick Chronicles"); Keke Palmer, 15 ("Akeelah and the Bee"); Emma Roberts, 18 ("Hotel For Dogs"); and Anton Yelchin, 19, who will star in upcoming blockbusters-in-the-making "Star Trek" and "Terminator Salvation."
