The pictured suit looks to be the "practical suit" that director Jon Favreau has mentioned on his Twitter page, a less bulky outfit that allows for more movement on the set.

According to Jon's Twitter, the cast was filming an encounter between Iron Man and S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), who made a precipitous appearance in the final scene of the first "Iron Man," where he mentioned the famous Marvel Comics super-team the Avengers. An Avengers film is also in the works, as are related movies based on Captain America and Thor.

And on Wednesday, Jon Tweeted about Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow outfit noting, "You've never heard a crew get so quiet so fast." Photos of the sexy star in character have yet to emerge.

"Iron Man 2" is due in May 2010.
