Because the world needs another late-night talk show, George Lopez is entering the fray.
"George and TBS are going to change the late-night television landscape and bring a brand new energy to the talk show genre by giving it a street-party atmosphere," said Michael Wright, executive vice president for programming at TBS.
The show, which will be based in Los Angeles, will air Monday through Thursday at 11 p.m.
"If change can come to the White House, then change can come to late night," Lopez said.
We're a little unsure what change Lopez is talking about, because the show -- wait for it -- will feature celebrity guests, comedy and music. Small change.
