“Go On”: Olympic Gold Medalist Misty May-Treanor to Guest Star

The three-time gold medalist will guest star as herself in an episode of the NBC comedy, set to air in late November or early December.

Watch out, TV stars: The Olympians are taking over!

Following in the footsteps of Ryan Lochte, Gabby Douglas and McKayla Maroney, who have all booked guest spots on popular shows, E! News has exclusively learned that Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor is set to make a guest appearance on Matthew Perry's new hit show "Go On."

Misty will play herself on the NBC comedy, which makes sense considering Perry's character Ryan King is a well-known sportscaster.

In the episode, tentatively set to air in late November or early December, the beach volleyball star invites Ryan to play in a game of--you guessed it--beach volleyball with her and her friends. This should end well for him!

"Go On" was recently picked up for a full season by NBC, along with "The New Normal" and "Revolution."

"Go On" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
