Jessica Biel Talks Justin, ‘Easy Virtue,' And Wanting To Be Whitney Houston

Jessica Biel gets the chance to show off a surprising singing voice in her latest film, "Easy Virtue," but the star told Parade in a new interview that when she was younger, she "wanted to be Whitney Houston."

"Nobody really knows this about me," she told the mag's May 23 issue. "That was my dream. I really started in musical theater doing 'Annie' and 'The Sound of Music.'"

Now, she's coming back to her roots — she'll be performing in the musical "Guys and Dolls" at the Hollywood Bowl this summer.

"I thought, 'Well, I'm not a soprano anymore, but I guess I'll go for it,'" she said.

Jessica didn't say if she'd ever join singer boyfriend Justin Timberlake for a duet, but she'd be open to making a film with him.

"If it was the right thing, yeah," Jessica said. "I would love to co-star with Justin. I just don't know what the right thing is, though."

And while the star has kept quiet about the details of their romance, she said they're not as exciting as one would expect.

"We don't do much of anything. We certainly don't do anything interesting," she said. "We just hang out at home. You have to have a real life because of the kind of crazy Hollywood stuff that you can get wrapped up in. It's so important to have hobbies and girlfriends, and not know people that work in Hollywood."

Jessica said that outside of show business, she enjoys indulging in athletics.

"I was playing soccer and I joined a kickball league," the sporty star added. "That's way more interesting to me than going to some party."
