The Kardashian matriarch drew a big crowd at the NATPE conference at the Fontainebleau

They found fame and fortune by being themselves and stayed in the spotlight by captivating audiences on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

In an appearance in Miami Beach Tuesday, reality star mom, manager and producer Kris Jenner gave her advice on how you too can build your own successful brand.

"What our brand is for me it’s just family first, everything else falls into place,” she said. “I think we all have to find something we want to do with our lives to make a living, and my kids’ passion lies in fashion and beauty."

The Kardashian matriarch drew a big crowd at the NATPE conference at the Fontainebleau. Love or hate the camera-ready clan, Jenner has built a multimillion-dollar business and careers for her six kids who enjoy the privilege of doing what they love.

"It doesn't hurt that the kids are maybe what young people would like to look like, or maybe have that kind of hair or have that nail polish on,” she said.

They have launched product lines with Sears, QuickTrim and the nail polish company OPI. Jenner says it all takes hard work, but credits partner Bunim/Murray Productions for realizing their potential.

"For every person who’s a hater on the Internet or in person there's millions of kids out there that think these kids are somebody they want to look up to,” she said.

During her appearance, Jenner addressed the backlash over the hype from Kim Kardashian’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.

"Obviously something horrible happened and they had to do what they had to do, but know that wasn't something that any of us ever in a trillion years expected,” she said.
