D.A. Not Opposed to Early LiLo Rehab Release

Next Lohan status hearing Aug. 25

Lindsay Lohan’s prosecutor said she wouldn’t have a problem with the “Mean Girls” starlet being released early from her court-ordered 90-day stay in rehab.

"I am going to stick with whatever the medical professionals think for her, because they are the experts," Dannette Meyers told E! News on Thursday.

The prosecutor also lashed over the apparent release of Lohan’s medical records to TMZ.

The gossip site reported Thursday that Lohan's doctors believed she may have been misdiagnosed, citing sources familiar with her treatment.

Lohan has been "weaned off" her prescription medications and is not suffering alcohol withdrawal, according to the site's sources. She should not have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or as Bipolar, TMZ reported.

"Everyone has a right to privacy and I was disappointed that they put it out there," Meyers told E! "Someone leaked her personal records and she is entitled to privacy."

Lohan has been in treatment at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center since Aug. 2 after serving 14 days in jail for violating probation.

Her mother Dina Lohan has said on NBC's "Today" show that her daughter would be released soon.

However, any modification of Lohan's rehab would have to be approved by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox, who took the job after prosecutors complained the previous judge did not notify them about discussions on Lohan’s case.

On Wednesday, Meyers and Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, had an unscheduled meeting with Judge Fox.

After the lawyers left court smiling a court spokesman announced Lohan would have a status hearing on Aug. 25.
