Denise Richards Lands Guest Role on “Blue Mountain State”

Actress moves from reality to scripted television

Denise Richards is returning to the small screen.

The actress and mother of two, whose reality show on E! got the boot last year, has signed on to play the recurring role of Debra, ex-wife of Marty Daniels, on Spike TV's "Blue Mountain State."

With the second season of "Blue Mountain State" set to premiere on Oct. 20, Richards' character will debut in the third episode, according to Access Hollywood.

The "Wild Things" star's past roles also include portraying Dr. Christmas Jones in "The World is Not Enough," and guest spots on shows like "Friends," and "Melrose Place."

Richards' most recent TV appearances include reality show stints on "Dancing With the Stars," and her E! show "Denise Richard's: It's Complicated."
