Halle Berry Hospitalized for Head Injury During Movie Shoot

The actress checked out healthy and was released, her rep said

Halle Berry was hospitalized Tuesday night for a "minor head injury" she suffered while shooting a fight sequence on the set of "The Hive," her representative said.

The Oscar-winner checked out healthy and was released and she planned to keep shooting the film as planned, her rep said in a statement Wednesday.

TMZ first reported Berry's injury, saying that she was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles just after 10 p.m. local time.

Despite her April engagement to boyfriend Olivier Martinez, the past year has proven a rough one for Halle Berry, who has been embroiled in a custody fight over her daughter Nahla.

Last year she suffered an on-set foot injury while filming "Cloud Atlas" and also fended off a stalker's break-in to her home.

She has suffered injuries on other movie sets in the past, too. She was hospitalized after being hit with a lighting prop while filming "Catwoman," and broke her arm on the set of "Gothika."
