Michael Jackson's Youngest Kid: “Where's Daddy Gone?”

Blanket, 7, is taking it harder than his siblings: pal

The heartbroken 7-year-old son of Michael Jackson is still struggling with the sudden death of his dad, taking the tragedy even harder than his two siblings, the boy's godfather said.

"Where's Daddy gone?" Prince Michael II, known as Blanket, asked his godfather during his father's public memorial in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Mark Lester, longtime Jackson family friend and godfather of Jackson's three kids, said Blanket is still not sure what happened to his dad.

"It was obvious to me that Blanket is still unsure about exactly what has happened to his father," Lester told the British magazine Hello!  "It was a rhetorical question and broke my heart. He clearly hadn't accepted that he won't be seeing his father again."

The King of Pop's daughter Paris, 11, was emotional at the star-studded mega-memorial where she broke down in tears as she bid a touching farewell to her father, Lester said.

"Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine," Paris said, her voice cracking. "And I just want to say that I love him so much."

Lester said Jackson's older son, 12-year-old Prince Michael, had been reserved during the ceremony.

The godfather said he expected the kids to visit him at his home in Britain for Christmas -- but was unsure what would happen since custody arrangements are still up in the air.

"It's difficult to say until the custody arrangements have been finalized," he said.
