Tony Romo was pulling a quarterback sneak with a slender blonde stunner who met Jessica Simpson backstage at her concert months before the pop starlet and the football-playing hunk split, according to a new report.
The Dallas Cowboys QB reportedly exchanged "flirty texts" and had a number of secret rendezvous with Natalie Smith while he was still dating the pop singer, according to Usmagazine.com.
The magazine described the 22-year-old Smith as a younger, skinnier look-alike of Simpson.
Romo, 29, even introduced Jessica to Smith backstage at a Feb. 6 concert after Simpson boasted to fans during the show that "the man who loves [her]" was in the audience.
"We hung out for, like 10 to 15 minutes, backstage," Smith told Usmagazine.com. "She was cool and nice."
Romo and Smith "are not officially dating, but they are having an intimate relationship" an insider told Usmagazine.com.
Sources told Us that the pro athlete was having an "emotional affair" months before he dumped Jessica on Juy 9 -- the eve of her 29th birthday.

"They've always flirted and texted each other," an insider said. "They had phone conversations one to two months before the breakup."
Smith is the daughter of the associate athletic director at his alma mater, Eastern Illinois University.
Romo reportedly posted a sign at his Dallas, Texas, home warning security guards to keep his ex out, according to Usmagazine.com.
The sign read: "RED ALERT!! Tony Romo has made some changes to his list of people allowed in ... Jessica is no longer on the list and not approved for access."
