Quentin Tarantino To Serve As ‘American Idol' Celebrity Mentor For Movie Week

Quentin Tarantino might not be a singer himself, but with music-filled films like "Pulp Fiction," "Reservoir Dogs" and the "Kill Bill" series under his belt, he's no stranger to picking the right song – something he's sure to share with the "American Idol" contestants next week on "Idols at the Movies."

On Tuesday's show, Quentin will mentor Kris Allen, Anoop Desai, Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta, Adam Lambert and Lil Rounds as they perform songs from the big screen, FOX announced.

The movie magic will continue the following night, when Season 3 finalist and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson returns to the "Idol" stage to perform her new single, "If This Isn't Love," and teen queen Miley Cyrus will sing "The Climb" from "Hannah Montana The Movie."

This marks Quentin's second time on the FOX reality show. He was a guest judge on the third season of "Idol."
