A source claimed the remake would be a "young and sexy take" on the original, with "G.I. Joe" star Channing Tatum playing Kevin Costner's role.

"Before the situation with Chris, Ri was getting a lot of scripts. She's been wanting to do movies for a while now," said the paper's source. The pop star is also reportedly considering working on the "Charlie's Angels" sequel as well as a film project with Justin Timberlake.
