Shia LaBeouf Admits to On-Set Fling With Megan Fox

The more Shia LaBeouf keeps talking, the more trouble he seems to make for Megan Fox.

First, he suggested in an interview that Fox was uncomfortable playing the sex symbol and that her "Spice Girl" feminism led her to pull out of the third installment ("Transformers: Dark of the Moon," opening this week). As if that weren't embarrassing enough, the claim led director Michael Bay to clarify the situation - which meant revealing the sticky truth that executive producer Steven Spielberg demanded Fox be fired after the actress compared Bay to Hitler in an interview.

In the newest issue of "Details," LaBeouf continued his quest to complicate Fox's life. When asked by Details writer Aaron Gell if he and Fox "hooked up" on the "Transformers set," LaBeouf, according to Gell, "nods affirmatively."

"Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them," LaBeouf explains. "I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation."

Fox, of course, had been dating actor Brian Austin Green since 2004. The pair got married last summer. When asked if he knew whether or not Fox and Green were together during their tryst, LaBeouf offers little in the way of a straight answer.

"I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know," says LaBeouf. Gell then claims he repeated "I don't know" no less than eight more times before adding,  "It was what it was."

So far there has been no comment from Fox on the subject.
