Source: David Duchovny & Tea Leoni ‘Still In Love'

David Duchovny and Tea Leoni are making it work eight months after announcing their separation, according to People.

A source told the mag that things are looking up for the longtime couple, who married in 1997.

"Their relationship has really improved," the source said. "They're still in love. They very much care for each other and whatever happens they are working it out for the kids."

The couple announced their split last October, days after David finished a stint in rehab for sex addiction.

However, they've been spotted together a number of times since, with a mind on keeping their family together.

"Their first priority through everything was staying close for their kids and making life as great as it can be for them," another source told the mag. "They'll always be a family."

The two actors have two children together, daughter Madelaine West, 10, and son Kyd, 7.

David himself told Access Hollywood at the Golden Globes earlier this year that his family was "great" after going through a rough patch.

"Last year was a difficult year," he told Access' Shaun Robinson at the time. "And I can say that I personally, have never felt better. And I think the better I am, the better my family can be."
