We don't spend a whole lot of time at Manofest.com (then again, we don't have a penis) but when someone zapped along this link to the site's list of the 10 Hottest Movie Prostitutes of All Time, we clicked. And we were appalled! Not by the site itself (it takes a lot more than "Greatest Moments In Celebrity Boob Jiggling History" to keep us awake, much less get us offended), but by the oversights. Some -- dare we say most -- of the greatest call-girls in cinematic history are nowhere to be found.
Manofest gets a few items on the list right. Rebecca DeMornay in Risky Business is a gimme. Elisabeth Shue in Leaving Las Vegas? Definitely -- and all the more for being the same Elisabeth Shue from Adventures in Babysitting, where she played possibly the most wholesome blonde since Maria von Trapp. And we applaud some of the more daring choices, like Jennifer Connelly in Requiem for a Dream, and Patricia Arquette in True Romance. But Monica Bellucci is too easy -- she'd make any "hottest" list she wanted to (hottest undertakers, hottest accountants, etc.). And whither Julia Roberts (at 23!) in Pretty Woman? Jane Fonda in Klute? Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's? And even if we're not going retro, what about Alexis Bledel in Sin City? Are you really telling us these women were edged out by Pam Anderson in Snapdragon? (Also: Snapdragon? Was that straight to video?)
