Bobby Brown Specifies “Terms” for Bobbi Kristina's Boyfriend to Visit Her

An attorney for Bobby Brown says Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend, Nick Gordon, can't visit her in the hospital until he reveals the events that occurred before she was found unresponsive in a bathtub.

"Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe. At least not desperate enough to inform Bobby Brown, in writing, what happened to Bobbi Kristina," Christopher Brown, one of Bobby Brown's attorneys, told E! in a statement.

Attorneys for Gordon said in a statement Sunday that they advised him to refuse the "conditions" set by Brown.

"Bobby Brown has consistently prohibited Nick, who Bobbi Kristina would want by her side, from being there," Gordon's attorneys, Randall M. Kessler and Joe S. Habach, said Sunday. "Per his own words, Mr. Brown has only 'offered an opportunity to potentially meet with Bobbi Kristina' if Nick were to meet certain conditions, conditions that we, his attorneys, have advised him not to meet, particularly in light of Mr. Brown's inability to guarantee access."

The statement said Gordon has "repeatedly offered to meet with Mr. Brown privately to discuss his request in person, rather than through lawyers. Those offers have also been rejected. We hope Mr. Brown has a change of heart."

The statement followed an earlier statement from Bobby Brown's lawyers, who said Gordon has had the chance to be by his longtime girlfriend's bedside.

Last week, Gordon insisted that he had been banned from visiting Bobbi Kristina's bedside in a Georgia hospital. In addition, he said his only intention was to be by a woman he cares deeply about.

"Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively," Kessler said in a statement Wednesday. "He has respected the family's wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted."

Meanwhile, E! News confirmed late last week that doctors performed a tracheotomy on Bobbi Kristina to help fight infection from her breathing tube.

"It's a normal procedure after a certain amount of time on a breathing tube," a source revealed. "It helps prevent infections." The source also confirmed that her family is in the process of taking her out of a medically induced coma.

As the family remains hopeful, Bobby continues to ask fans to pray for a smooth recovery.

"We continue to request privacy in this matter," Bobby said in a statement to E! News Saturday. "We thank everyone that supports Bobbi Kristina and God is hearing our prayers."
