Chris Pine Lands “Horrible Bosses 2” Role

Chris Pine has landed his next gig.

The "Star Trek" actor is joining the star-studded cast of "Horrible Bosses 2," E! News confirms.

Pine is set to share the big screen with Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jamie Foxx--who have all signed on to reprise their roles in the flick.

And while the sequel's cast isn't exactly finalized, there's one actor that we definitely won't be seeing in the film.

New Line studio was trying to get Christoph Waltz on board to play Pine's father (and one of the bosses), but the award-winning actor passed on the role.

NEWS: See Chris Pine and Keira Knightley in action

News that a sequel to the mega-successful film was taking place began surfacing in March of this year.

E! News confirmed that the original director, Seth Gordon, was also back to helm the comedy.

And since (spoiler alert!) Jennifer Aniston survived in the first film, despite a poorly planned attempt on her life, there's still a small chance that she may make a cameo!

But we won't have to wait until the highly anticipated sequel to see the hunky actor in the theaters.

Pine's next film "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit," which costars Keira Knightley, is set to be released this coming Christmas.
