Damon Wayans Doesn't Believe Bill Cosby Rape Allegations

Comedian Damon Wayans is making headlines after sharing his thoughts on the ongoing Bill Cosby scandal.

During a sit-down interview with Power 105.1's “The Breakfast Club” Friday morning in New York, the comedian was asked about the allegations. Wayans said he doesn't believe all of the women coming forward.

"I just don't believe it," he said. "I think it's a money hustle."

The comedian said he hopes people will wait before passing judgment, especially since the allegations have yet to be proven.

Cosby has not been charged with a crime and has denied the decades-old allegations of sexual assault and attempted sexual assault that have surfaced over the past year.

But it wasn’t Wayans' support that had people upset. It was his comments aimed at Cosby's accusers that angered people on social media.

"Some of them [are] un-rape-able,” Wayans said. “I just look at them and go, 'You don't want that. Get out of here.'"

The 55-year-old decided to clarify his comments on Twitter.

"Stop twisting my words. Watch the entire interview before u condemn me!" he wrote on the site with a video to the whole interview.

Wayans also tweeted a shortened clip that he believes wasn't featured enough in the media coverage.

"For them, my heart goes out to them," he is shown saying during the Power 105 sit down. "For anybody who has been raped by Bill Cosby, I'm sorry and I hope you get justice."
