Dana Carvey Performs “SNL” Hit on “The Tonight Show”

Dana Carvey took to the "Tonight Show" stage with a tribute to a "Saturday Night Live" performance of "The Lady I Know (Choppin' Broccoli)."

Carvey, who was Jimmy Fallon's guest to promote his upcoming stand-up shows, tapped into his "SNL" character, Derek Stevens and sang the ballad – which he first performed on the comedy sketch show in 1986 – with an orchestra behind him.

Hesitant when Fallon introduced the idea of him singing a song, the "SNL" alum mumbled, "Let me just do it, I've got the lyrics, so let's just do it."

"As Matthew McConaughey would say 'alright, alright, alright,'" he said.

The "Wayne's World" star also played "Wheel of Impressions" on "Tonight" where he imitated the voices of Al Pacino and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Carvey was a castmember on "Saturday Night Live" from 1986 to 2010.
