WikiLeaks Dump Reveals Former Blink-182 Founder Reached Out to Clinton Camp to Discuss Aliens: Report

The emails, released by WikiLeaks Monday, suggest Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta is participating in a documentary DeLonge is producing

New Wikileaks documents apparently reveal former Blink-182 band member Tom DeLonge reached out to the Hillary Clinton campaign in 2015 and 2016 to discuss one of his favorite subjects ... extraterrestrials, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The emails, which haven't been verified, reveal alien enthusiast DeLonge reached out to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, who has also made comments regarding alien life. It's unclear if Podesta ever responded to the emails; the Clinton campaign has said some of the leaked cache may have been altered or fabricated.

In one of the emails from 2015, DeLonge supposedly said he would like to meet with Podesta and "bring two very 'important' people out to meet you in DC. I think you will find them very interesting, as they were principal leadership relating to our sensitive topic," according to the report.

Writing in vague terms, DeLonge added, "Both were in charge of most fragile divisions, as it relates to Classified Science and DOD topics. Other words, these are A-Level officials. Worth our time, and as well the investment to bring all the way out to you," DeLonge reportedly wrote.

DeLonge was one of the founders of the pop-punk band Blink-182, and sang their song "Aliens Exist," from 1999. Now estranged from the band, Rolling Stone has reported that he is working on a novel based on his research that suggests the military uses alien technology.

DeLonge didn't respond to a request for comment.

The emails, released by WikiLeaks Monday, apparently reveal Podesta is participating in a documentary DeLonge is producing.

"I just need 2 hours from you. Just looking to have a casual, and private conversation in person," DeLonge wrote, according to The Wall Streeet Journal.

In another email dated Jan. 25, 2016, under the subject header "General McCasland" DeLonge reportedly writes he's been in contact with an important military official regarding alien life.

"He mentioned he's a "skeptic", he's not. I've been working with him for four months. I just got done giving him a four hour presentation on the entire project a few weeks ago. Trust me, the advice is already been happening on how to do all this. He just has to say that out loud, but he is very, very aware- as he was in charge of all of the stuff," the newspaper said DeLonge wrote.

While the Clinton campaign has not responded directly regarding the release of the DeLonge emails to Podesta, they did condemn the release of any hacked emails released by Wikileaks, and questioned their veracity.

"Donald Trump has once again cheered on Russian hacking after he willfully misrepresented at the debate that hacking may not be happening. It is chilling that long time Trump associate Roger Stone is in contact with WikiLeaks and even predicted two months ago that Podesta's emails would be next," Clinton campaign spokesman Glen Caplin said in a statement.

"If (Donald Trump) wants to reassure American voters, he must not only acknowledge and condemn Russia's role in this outrageous intrusion against U.S. interests, but he must finally disclose the full extent of his ties to Russia and divest any Russian-linked assets," Caplin added.
