‘Game of Thrones” New Season 6 Trailer Promises ‘The Dead Are Coming'

Get a new look at the HBO drama's upcoming season debuting on Sunday, April 24

"Game of Thrones" season six is just days away – you can practically smell the wet direwolf fur in the air! – and just in time to satisfy your Westeros cravings there's a new trailer. And guess what? It opens with Jon Snow (Kit Harington). And guess what again? He's dead. Still.

It's a bit of the scene "GoT" actor Liam Cunningham debuted on "Conan" last week, but here's some new voiceover: "I thought he was the man to lead us through the long night, but I was wrong."

Don't shut the browser out of frustration just yet, the dragons come up shortly after. There's also lots of Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), defiant Sansa (Sophie Turner), Cersei (Lena Headey) doing what she does best and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) getting stripped down.

Perhaps the most ominous quote though comes from Cunningham's Davos Seaworth: "The real war is between the living and the dead. Make no mistake: the dead are coming." Coming in at a close second is Tyrion saying, "That's what I do. I drink and I know things."

"Game of Thrones" returns on Sunday, April 24 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
