‘Heroes Reborn' Takes Over Times Square

"Heroes Reborn" hits New York City this weekend and fans of the new thriller will get the chance to see themselves up in lights on NBC's billboard in Times Square.

The 13-episode event series will come to life in the heart of midtown Manhattan on September 12 (12 p.m.–10 p.m.) and Sept. 13 (10 a.m.–8 p.m.) via interactive fan experiences.

Visitors to the iconic landmark can become a hero for a day and have a photo taken with a ball of animated fire in their hands. The image will be streamed to the NBC digital billboard and shared via social media.

There's also a 4-D interactive experience allowing passersby to enter the world of "Heroes Reborn" and access their own pyro-kinesis abilities. Through a multisensory experience of interactive visuals and kinetic effects, fans will use their power with fire to escape a dangerous scenario.

From creator and executive producer Tim Kring, who imagined NBC's original critically acclaimed 2006 "Heroes" series, "Heroes Reborn" is an epic event that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities and stars Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Danika Yarosh, Judi Shekoni, Rya Kihlstedt and Gatlin Green.

Start your "Heroes Reborn" experience now with the six-episode digital prequel "Heroes Reborn: Dark Matter," available by downloading the "Heroes Reborn" app. The prequel bridges the gap between the original series and "Heroes Reborn," reintroducing viewers to the "Heroes" universe.
