“The Voice” Recap: Who Moves On to the Finals?

Walk the Moon and Snoop Dogg made special appearances as America's votes were revealed in the semi-final round.

The stakes have never been higher on "The Voice," as America's votes were tallied and the top five performers found out who would advance to next week's final round.

Walk the Moon, the upbeat snyth-pop outfit, kicked off the evening’s performance with their chart-topping song-of-the-summer favorite, “Shut Up and Dance.”

The first artist saved by America’s votes was Team Pharrell’s 17-year-old heartthrob Sawyer Fredericks — although host Carson Daly emphasized that the order of the contestants’ saves had no bearing on the actual number of votes they’d received.

Next up, Snoop Dogg took the stage with coach Pharrell Williams for a performance of their new collaboration, “California Roll.”

The next artist saved: Meghan Linsey of Team Blake.

Linsey then joined forces with India Carney and Koryn Hawthorne to sing Journey’s 1980s rock ballad “Faithfully.”

And in a twist on the show's usual pattern, Carney then found out she would have to perform later in the evening, and that she had not received a top vote.

Fredericks and Joshua Davis then got the crowd on their feet with a rendition of “Drift Away.”

The third vote save went to Davis, meaning that Hawthorne had to compete with Carney in the last #VoiceSave of the season for a place in the finals.

Carney sang “Dark Side” by Kelly Clarkson.

Hawthorne sang Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy.”

The #VoiceSave votes were tallied…

… and America saved Hawthorne, rounding out the top four singers for next week’s finals. Carney is set to appear on the “Today” show Wednesday morning.

“The Voice” returns Monday, May 18, with the final round of performances.
