What Just Happened? Japanese Winter Olympian Tries to Bite Teammate's Finger

Veteran ski jumper Noriaki Kasai was captured in a rather odd interaction with his teammate at the games on Saturday

Waiting for your event to start at the Winter Olympics bites....literally.

Veteran ski jumper Noriaki Kasai was captured in a rather odd interaction with his teammate at the games on Saturday.

As fellow ski jumper Taku Takeuchi watches the events intently, 45-year-old Kasai slowly sneaks up beside him, an open mouth apparently going for a nibble of Takeuchi's finger

Takeuchi absentmindedly prods at Kasai, and feels his face much closer than expected. The younger athlete jumps in surprise, and gives Kasai a look.

Unfazed, Kasai, who is currently attending his eighth winter games, gives him a look back. We're still not quite sure what was going on.
