Miami Gardens Police said they still want to talk to Rick Ross about the man who was found fatally shot outside a home he owns.
Police spokesman Bill Bamford said authorities spoke to the rapper by telephone, but still need to get some additional information in regards to the death of 39-year-old Gregory Paul Nesbitt. He was found outside the home at 3203 Northwest 181st Street around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said Ross owns the home but doesn't live there.
Nesbitt was shot several times and neighbors said he had been at the house before, Bamford said.
He was not the renter, Bamford said. Police are trying to figure out if there is a connection between the person who rents the house and Nesbitt.
Bamford said the house is registered under Ross' birth name, William L. Roberts II, and that he purchased it in 2010. Online property records also showed the house belonging to Ross under his birth name.

Nesbitt's autopsy was completed and authorities are meeting with the state attorney's office to go over the case.
