Get ready McKinley High — you haven't seen the last of April Rhodes!
Kristin Chenoweth appeared on Access Hollywood Live on Friday with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover and piped up on details about her reccurring "Glee" appearance and the new sitcom "Glee" creator, Ryan Murphy, is creating… starring her!
The Broadway babe-turned-Hollywood hottie confirmed to Billy and Kit that she will be in Murphy's upcoming 30-minute sitcom, which she explained, will be of the musical genre much like "Glee." However, it will not be a spinoff of the FOX hit show. Rather, it will be a musically motivated sitcom aimed for a more mature audience.
"It's signed on the dotted lines, so he should be busily working away on a new show because he has nothing else to do, you know. He's very bored. I feel sorry for him," Kristin joked.
More recently, there have been rumors as to whether fellow "Glee" guest star John Stamos will also be starring on the developing show — something it seems Kristin wouldn't mind a single bit.
"You know, those are the rumors, but I don't know it to be true. I love him. I love John. There are a lot of men I like. Did that sound wrong?" she quipped.
As for the character that brought Kristin to "Glee," she assures Gleeks everywhere that adorable lush April Rhodes will be returning.
"She's definitely going to come back. She's going to come back in the spring for probably a couple episodes… and I have no idea how drunk she will be," the crooning cutie laughed.
