10/13: Bite Us, Wednesday

Vampire Weekend at the Fillmore, anniversary deals at the InterContinental and Hyper Crush at LIV

VAMPIRES: No, the cast of "Twilight" or "True Blood" isn't in town, at least not today, but the band Vampire Weekend is. The band's second album, "Contra," made the top spot on the Billboard charts, and made us want to dance like no one's business. They take the stage tonight at the Fillmore Miami Beach with the duo Beach House opening up. 8 P.M.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ICM! It's the silver anniversary for the InterContinental Miami as it celebrates its 25th year as part of our downtown Miami skyline. So celebrate the luxury hotel's birthday with great deals: 25 bottles of wine offered at $25, a special $25 spa service menu, 25 percent off the Starbucks menu in the hotel's lobby, cocktails by the pool for $2.50 between 2-5 p.m. and an Indigo lunch buffet for, you guessed it, $25.

FEELING DIRTY: Liv's Dirty Harry party has made Wednesday the new Friday, so it's a shame if you stay in tonight to watch "Law and Order" re-runs (they'll play them again, we promise). Tonight, it's Hyper Crush live, followed by DJs Jessica Who, Ross One and Contra. 11 P.M.
