1/29: Cheer For Cheerleaders

Take it easy at work today. There's a weekend of fun in your future!

CHEERLEADER COMBAT: Are you one of those people who attends all sporting events for the booze and the broads?  Well, we found something that takes your favorite part of the game with a splash of competition and fabulousness.  Battle Of the Beauties is today at the Ocean Manor Resort and it is sure to put cheerleading into a new light for you.  As we all know, the Pro Bowl is the best of each team thrown together into one arena. So tonight, see the AFC girls try to tumble and cheer their way to the top to beat the ladies of the NFC. Adults are $10, 15 and under are $5 and all your little nuggets under the age of 5 are free.  Just cover the babies eyes if it gets too brutal.  2 PM.

BUYERS BEWARE: The Colts and Saints are on their way here next week, so fans need to make sure that they are decked out in all their blue and white or black and gold attire.  Even if your team didn't make it, you need to keep up your team spirit via jerseys and coozies.  Everything you have ever wanted as a fan can be found this weekend at the South Florida FanFest at the Miami Beach Convention Center.  There will be over $1,000,000 in sports memorabilia all in one place.  Everything from shirts, cards and even vintage Orange Bowl remnants are all up for grabs.  Shopping not your thing?  There will be music by Billboard, Heat dancers and celebrity sightings.  This event will most definitely make everyone happy.  $10-$15. 10 AM.

PROS AT PARTYING:

The Clevlander has had a hell of a year.  First the Kardashians took over and shook things up this summer.  Now they've stepped it up once again hosting some of the best parties of the Pro Bowl season. Tonight they're hosting a party surrounding our three favorite things: champagne, BBQ and football.  The Pro Players Champagne BBQ is not only going to have party hosts like Jonathan Vilma and DJ Williams, but the music will be provided by Jermaine Dupri and DJ Irie. VIP tickets can cost you up to $2,000, but you can also attend the A-list event for only $25.  8 PM.
